12/8/2024-The Tejas Republic scored 6 runs in the first inning to hold off and eliminated the Austin Weirdos from the Coastal Qualifer. Texas Republic only got one hit in the game. Skyler Yarbough walked 4 batters and allowed 6 runs in the first.

The Weirdos clawed back but could not tie the game. Michael Bentz got the win going 6 innings walking 6 and striking out 3.

Andy Herrera came on for the save pitching a scoreless 7th.

Jackson Basham went 2-4 for the Weirdos in the losing effort. With the loss the Weirdos are eliminated from the Coastal Qualifier. Tejas will play Zulia in the losers bracket contest.
