The Apollos become the 3rd team from Coastal Baseball to enter the Stan Musial World Series. (In 2009 the League City Hornets and Bayou City Bears entered the tournament due to teams not reporting from other areas in the US)
The Apollos had just won the regional three days earlier and were set to play a game in the middle of the day on Wed. The Apollos had to play with the roster they qualified with but managed to get just 10 players to the game who were on the roster and eligible.
The Apollos had no chance in either game but still enjoyed the tournament and celebrated the fact that they qualified.
